Grand County Pet Pals

The Grand County Animal Shelter was being displaced by a needed expansion of Grand County's water treatment plant. To the rescue came Grand County Pet Pals, a nonprofit funding organization in support of the county no-kill animal shelter. Pet Pals started a capital campaign and invited MA Studios as well as Chillcoots Construction into the fold. The Town of Granby donated some land, and Grand County's lost, stray, and in-crisis animals would soon have a new rescue home built for them. We like the much appreciated natural light in the kennels area as well as in pet-visitation and front desk/ visitor waiting spaces. Dog lovers and cat lovers ourselves, it has been a heart-warming opportunity designing this new state-of-the-art facility. MA Studios, as well as Chillcoots, are proud to be in-trade contributors to the campaign, as well as the generous support of many animal-loving contractors, various tradespeople and citizens in the community. The project is expected to be completed in Spring 2026.
