Grand Park Recreation Center

A growing population of the "mountain fit" outgrew the existing weight room and group classroom space at the community recreation center, which first opened is doors in 2009. The MA team along with PJ Arnold Construction created enough space to expand the workout areas for more equipment to comfortably usher in the fitness future. The project provided about 3,540 square feet of extra space, where added square-footage allows for more administrative space, group exercises, athletic performance and high intensity areas, and an expansion of the existing free weight area. According to the Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District, the facility sees annual visits topping 150,000 users.
